A software engineering role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance graphics and windowing system components for Mir, using C and Rust, with opportunities to engage with open source communities and contribute to modern display technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement features across the Mir graphics stack
Debug, track down, and fix software issues
Participate in code and architectural reviews
Create and improve tests and performance benchmarks
Maintain documentation to enhance developer experience
Engage with the open source community and commercial partners
Collaborate with a distributed team
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years industry experience in software development.
Excellent modern C programming skills.
Excellent Rust programming skills.
Strong skills in both Rust and C programming languages.
Familiarity with Linux as a development and deployment platform.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or a similar field.
Ability to collaborate remotely with a diverse set of team members and remain highly motivated, productive, and organized.
