Job Description
This position is a senior project management and team leadership role in architecture or engineering, focusing on managing large healthcare projects, client relations, team development, and ensuring project quality, budget, and schedule adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and maintain client relationships to generate future opportunities.
- Manage project teams to achieve quality, budget, schedule, innovation, and profitability goals.
- Oversee project planning, including work plan, budget, and schedule development and management.
- Manage design and documentation processes during construction, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Coordinate project risk management, including developing and implementing risk mitigation plans.
- Ensure effective communication of client objectives and project updates to team members.
- Mentor and lead project team members, providing feedback and fostering a positive team environment.
- Monitor technical quality and enforce QA/QC standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related degree required.
- Minimum of 12 years related experience, including managing projects with construction budgets of 70 million dollars or more.
- Prior Healthcare experience is required.
- Current Licensure preferred.
- LEED certification preferred.
- Capability of performing in a project management role for large or multiple projects and training project managers.
- Strong client leadership and project team management capability for large or multiple projects.
- Must possess strong business acumen.
- Ability to perform as a leader of authority, with expert level knowledge.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with the project team and client is essential.
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam as well as other data management software is required.
