This role involves leading and developing a high-performance team in the Philadelphia area to drive market growth, client engagement, and brand enhancement through strategic initiatives, business development, and project leadership, all while embodying the firm's Living-Centered Design philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead high-performance, diverse teams focused on implementing the Market Business Plan.
Drive market growth by developing new business opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships.
Lead client engagement on billable projects, providing strategic leadership and innovative solutions.
Enhance the market's brand through external speaking, writing, and promotional activities.
Develop and execute the market business plan, including strategies for client engagement, differentiation, and team building.
Achieve top-line revenue targets, including a personal goal of $3.0M in net signed fees annually.
Assess market trends and identify new opportunities for growth and advancement.
Collaborate with firm leadership to implement business plan initiatives and ensure profitability goals are met.
Mentor, develop, and recruit staff to build a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive team.
Allocate time effectively among brand development, client partnership, project leadership, and strategic market activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
Current Registration Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering is preferred.
Minimum of 12 years of experience with a proven track record of strategic growth, market and team leadership, and business development success in the S T Market.
Strong presentation skills are essential.
Exceptional client and people leadership skills are required.
Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully are essential.
Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy are needed.
Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
Must be able to demonstrate sound judgment and a sound approach regarding risk management and mitigation.
Some travel required.
