Job Description
This role involves leading healthcare architecture projects as a subject matter expert, providing technical expertise, client and team leadership, mentoring staff, and developing innovative, sustainable design solutions to meet client needs and project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead healthcare projects by providing technical expertise in programming, planning, and architectural development.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and refine planning concepts and assess space utilization.
- Communicate planning ideas effectively to clients, designers, and project teams through reports and presentations.
- Develop architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation for construction based on planning concepts.
- Lead the development of project scope, plans, and services during contract negotiations.
- Integrate sustainable design solutions into healthcare projects.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience
- Previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the healthcare market
- Knowledge of building codes and requirements
- Must have advanced knowledge in the discipline
- Must possess business acumen
- Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lead less experienced team members
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam
