This role is a senior specialist position in healthcare architecture, focusing on project leadership, client and team collaboration, innovative design solutions, and developing detailed project documentation while integrating sustainable design practices.
Key Responsibilities
Lead healthcare projects with a focus on team and client leadership, mentoring, and improving work quality
Develop innovative solutions and responses to evolving research needs within the industry
Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise in programming and planning
Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization
Communicate planning concepts to project teams, clients, and owners through reports and presentations
Work with architectural designers to optimize plans that meet owners' goals and objectives
Translate planning concepts into comprehensible terms for clients and project team members
Develop, modify, and review planning concepts and solutions
Create architectural drawings and specifications to translate planning into construction documentation
Develop project scope, plans, and services during the contract process
Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects
Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide guidance to team members
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree
Minimum of 10 years of related experience
Previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the Healthcare market
Knowledge of building codes and requirements
Must have advanced knowledge in the discipline
Must possess business acumen
Strong verbal and written communication skills to be client facing
Ability to lead less experienced team members
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam software
