Job Description

This role involves leading the Education Market in Dallas by developing high-performing teams, driving business growth, managing client relationships, and promoting innovative design solutions aligned with Living-Centered Design principles to ensure the market's success and firm-wide impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead high-performance, diverse teams focused on the Education Market.
  • Create and execute the Market Business Plan to drive market growth and differentiation.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve top-line revenue targets.
  • Lead client engagement at high levels, managing project-specific work and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Represent the market externally and internally through speaking, writing, and promotional activities.
  • Advance strategic initiatives, market differentiation, and client pursuit strategies.
  • Oversee the development of the market's business plan and ensure alignment with firm-wide goals.
  • Manage overall market top-line results, aiming for specific revenue and profitability targets.
  • Assess, mentor, recruit, and develop staff to build a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive team.
  • Lead market strategy development, market intelligence, and differentiation efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Current Registration Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience with a proven track record of strategic growth, market and team leadership, and business development success in the Education Market.
  • Strong presentation skills are essential.
  • Exceptional client and people leadership skills are required.
  • Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully are essential.
  • Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy are needed.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
  • Must demonstrate sound judgment and a sound approach regarding risk management and mitigation.
  • Some travel is required.
