Job Description
This entry-level architectural position involves supporting the design process through software, model building, documentation, and site visits, working under supervision to contribute to project teams and gain practical experience in architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design process using software like Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketch-up.
- Build physical building models.
- Produce architectural documentation under supervision.
- Create graphics and images for client presentations.
- Conduct product research and assist with building code research.
- Review shop drawings and submittals under supervision.
- Attend in-house project team meetings.
- Visit job sites to verify conditions and observe construction progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field required by hire date
- Strong creative design portfolio
- Must have strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency with Revit and Enscape preferred
