A Project Manager responsible for overseeing maintenance and reliability capital projects across various industries, managing all project phases from planning to closeout, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of maintenance and reliability capital projects from planning to closeout.
Lead and coordinate project planning, scheduling, design quality, and execution.
Direct and oversee activities of project engineers and team members.
Coordinate technical communication across engineering disciplines, clients, contractors, vendors, and management.
Ensure projects adhere to scope and schedule requirements.
Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to execute project scope.
Lead proposal development and cost estimation.
Serve as the client’s primary contact and manage project budgets and invoicing.
Mentor project and discipline engineers and team members.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering preferred
10 years of engineering consulting experience supporting the oil gas, chemical, renewable energy power, and manufacturing industries
Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects is preferred
Background in project development and execution
Management experience leading teams, possibly experience as a client manager
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing projects
Prior to deployment on any field assignment, must be able to meet all client-specific site requirements, including physical mobility on the ground and at heights
Must be able to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs
Ability to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off platforms or scaffolding using appropriate fall protection
Ability to work in all weather conditions including heat, rain, cold, and wind while wearing the appropriate PPE such as hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, and leather, steel-toed work boots
May be required to position oneself to work in confined spaces
May be required to adhere to a client’s random drug testing program prior to entering their site
May be required to meet a client’s facial hair safety policy prior to entering their site
