Job Description
This is a general application for field-based engineering and technical roles at Brindley Engineering, involving site-specific tasks that require physical mobility, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet all client-specific site requirements prior to deployment on field assignments
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50 lbs
- Work at heights, climb ladders, stairways, and scaffolding using fall protection equipment
- Operate in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE
- Position oneself in confined spaces as required
- Adhere to safety policies including drug testing and facial hair policies before entering client sites
Requirements
- Must be able to meet all client-specific site requirements prior to deployment on any field assignment.
- Must possess physical mobility on the ground and at heights.
- Must be able to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off platforms, scaffolding, and ladders using the appropriate and required fall protection.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions including heat, rain, cold, and wind while wearing the appropriate PPE, which may include a hard hat, safety glasses or goggles, ear plugs, masks or respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, and leather or steel-toed work boots.
- Must be able to position oneself to work in confined spaces.
- Must be able to adhere to a client’s random drug testing program prior to entering their site.
- Must be able to meet a client’s facial hair safety policy prior to entering their site.
