A field-focused electrical engineer responsible for evaluating, designing, and supporting electrical power distribution systems in industrial settings, with opportunities for leadership, technical development, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with field evaluations of existing electrical power distribution systems
Develop calculations, repair drawings, and repair replacement recommendations
Participate in client and contractor meetings and oversee written reports
Provide technical support for field execution and outage turnaround projects
Assist in constructability planning, proposal, and estimate development
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Typically 0 to 2 years of experience in electrical engineering
Knowledge of Electrical Engineering codes, Arc Flash preferred
E.I.T. licensure (Engineer in Training) is required
Must possess physical mobility on the ground and at heights
Ability to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs
Ability to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off platforms and scaffolding using appropriate fall protection
Ability to work in all weather conditions including heat, rain, cold, and wind while wearing the appropriate PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, goggles, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, leather gloves, leather and steel-toed work boots)
Must be able to position oneself to work in confined spaces
Must meet client-specific site requirements prior to deployment, including adherence to safety policies such as drug testing and facial hair policies
