Job Description
This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, and related equipment, with leadership responsibilities in managing a team of mechanics and performing field service work for a clean energy solutions company.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel, gasoline, small engines, and hydraulic systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Operate and maintain service trucks and field repair equipment
- Supervise and manage a team of mechanics or field technicians when required
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and maintain accurate service records
- Travel to job sites for on-site repairs and field service support
Requirements
- Active Class A CDL required.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in diesel, gasoline, and small engine repair.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical diagnostics, and welding fabrication is a plus.
- Experience in managing a team or leading a shop field service crew.
- Willingness to travel for fieldwork as necessary.
- Must reside within 40 miles of Rock Tavern, NY.

Hourly wage range of $36.06 - $45.67 with eligibility for overtime pay
Work schedule of at least 40 hours per week, with potential for additional hours
Work environment includes work site setting and warehouse shop setting
