Job Description
This role involves leading complex geothermal energy development projects, managing stakeholder relationships, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving business development efforts to secure new projects and revenue in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary geothermal development projects across various stages, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and performance standards.
- Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to meet project timelines and maintain clear communication throughout the development process.
- Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication strategies, including client presentations and relationship building.
- Translate geological, engineering, and financial data into actionable insights for project development and client guidance.
- Develop and present project financials, including capital and operating expenses, and navigate relevant regulatory and incentive programs.
- Articulate the company's value proposition, conduct business development activities, and manage the geothermal project pipeline to meet sales and revenue targets.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of work experience in client facing roles in energy efficiency and renewable energy.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in any combination of supervisory, sales, project management, project implementation, or similar experience.
- Background in or experience working with renewable energy project development, real estate development, MEP engineering, environmental engineering, construction project management, architecture, or a comparable field.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical, engineering, financial, and regulatory documents, including drilling reports, cost estimates, thermal conductivity reports, site plans, specification packages, and grants.
- Demonstrated expertise in navigating complex approval processes.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, technical disciplines, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with managing client-facing projects to a schedule.
- Proficiency with project management software, CRM, and communication platforms for performance tracking, transparent information sharing, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills with experience in stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, both internal and external.
- Ability to manage a pipeline of projects to meet or exceed sales and revenue targets.
- Ability to work independently and creatively in a fast-paced and fluid environment, demonstrating resourcefulness, initiative, and a strong sense of ownership over tasks.
- Willingness to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with an expectation of an average of 40 hours, including overtime as scheduled.
- Travel required up to 25% within the Northeast region.

Base salary range of $150,000-$180,000 with potential for uncapped quarterly commissions
