Job Description
The role involves managing on-site commercial geothermal construction projects, overseeing drilling operations, subcontractors, safety, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee drilling operations and subcontractor activities on-site for ground-up commercial construction projects.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines to ensure successful completion.
- Direct involvement in foundation and early construction phases.
- Coordinate with general contractors, site supervisors, project managers, and construction teams to meet project goals.
- Participate in meetings related to submittals, shop drawings, and project matters.
- Provide on-site direction and manage construction activities to ensure quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel to various locations as required by the job.
- Must have SST card.
- Proven experience in managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
- Experience with managing drilling operations and subcontractor activities on-site.
- Demonstrated ability to enforce and enhance safety protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Experience in managing project budgets, schedules, and timelines to ensure successful project completion.
- Proficiency in contract management and understanding how each component fits into the larger construction project.
- Ability to liaise effectively with general contractors and address their requirements.
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with site supervisors, project managers, general contractors, and construction teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Experience participating actively in meetings discussing submittals, shop drawings, and project-related matters.
- Must have a valid SST card.
- Work environment includes office setting, work site setting, and hybrid work setting.
- Position is safety sensitive and requires compliance with drug and alcohol testing policies, including pre-employment background check, criminal history check, and pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be able to meet physical demands necessary to perform essential functions of the job, as it is a safety-sensitive position.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range of $110,000.00 to $145,000.00 with potential for an annual performance-based bonus
