Job Description
The role involves managing on-site ground-up commercial geothermal construction projects, overseeing drilling operations, subcontractors, safety, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee drilling operations and subcontractor activities on-site for ground-up commercial construction projects.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry safety standards.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines to ensure successful completion.
- Direct involvement in foundation and early construction phases of ground-up projects.
- Coordinate with general contractors, site supervisors, project managers, and construction teams to meet project goals.
- Review and participate in project meetings related to submittals, shop drawings, and project progress.
- Manage contract components and ensure proper integration into the overall construction process.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel to various locations as required by the job.
- Must have SST card.
- Proven experience in managing ground-up commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
- Experience with managing ground-up commercial construction projects, including foundation and early construction management.
- Proficiency in contract management and understanding how each component fits into the larger construction process.
- Ability to liaise effectively with general contractors and address their requirements.
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly with site supervisors, project managers, general contractors, and construction teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Ability to participate actively in meetings discussing submittals, shop drawings, and project-related matters.
- Must be able to work a minimum of thirty (30) hours each week to maintain full-time status for benefits purposes, with an expectation of an average of forty (40) hours per week including overtime as scheduled.
- Work in an office setting, work site setting, or hybrid work environment.
- Must meet physical demands necessary to perform essential functions of the job in a safety-sensitive position.
- Must pass pre-employment background check, criminal history check, and pre-employment drug screen.
- Compliance with DOT regulations 49 CFR 40.25, including prior drug and alcohol testing records for safety-sensitive duties.
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive position and adhere to a drug and alcohol-free workplace policy.
Benefits & Perks
Base salary range of $110,000 to $145,000 with potential for annual performance bonus
