Job Description
A Commercial Sales Estimator is responsible for assessing and estimating the costs of roofing projects for commercial clients, supporting sales efforts, and contributing to the company's growth by providing accurate and competitive proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Estimate commercial roofing projects accurately based on customer specifications and site assessments
- Prepare and present detailed proposals and quotes to clients
- Collaborate with sales, production, and project management teams to ensure project scope and costs are aligned
Requirements
- Must have experience in commercial sales estimation or a related field, with a clear understanding of estimating processes and procedures.
- Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, homeowners, and team members.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or specifications related to roofing projects.
- Must be able to accurately prepare and deliver sales estimates for commercial roofing projects, ensuring completeness and competitiveness.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to various job sites and locations as required.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications related to roofing, construction, or sales are preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple estimates and customer inquiries simultaneously.
- Must be physically capable of visiting job sites, which may involve walking, climbing, or inspecting roofs and structures.
- Must demonstrate a professional appearance and conduct suitable for representing the company to clients and homeowners.
