The Area Sales Manager leads and coaches the sales team within a specific territory, focusing on recruiting, training, and achieving sales goals in the roofing industry while providing excellent customer service and supporting company growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales representatives in the territory
Recruit, train, and onboard new sales professionals within the territory
Ensure the sales team achieves and exceeds sales goals through effective leadership and collaboration
Assist in generating sales and developing customer relationships
Travel to other markets to support sales staff and business growth
Requirements
Experience in sales leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales representatives within a specific territory.
Experience in recruiting, training, and onboarding sales professionals within a territory.
Ability to lead through influence with a sales team reporting directly to the Market General Manager.
Willingness to learn about the roofing industry.
Excellent communication skills.
Willingness to travel to other markets needing additional sales staff.
