Job Description
The Area Sales Manager leads and coaches the sales team within a specific territory, focusing on recruiting, training, and achieving sales goals in the roofing industry while providing excellent customer service and supporting company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales representatives in the territory
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales professionals within the territory
- Ensure the sales team achieves and exceeds sales goals through effective leadership and collaboration
- Assist in generating sales and developing customer relationships
- Travel to other markets to support sales staff and business growth
Requirements
- Experience in sales leadership, coaching, and strategic guidance to sales representatives within a specific territory.
- Experience in recruiting, training, and onboarding sales professionals within a territory.
- Ability to lead through influence with a sales team reporting directly to the Market General Manager.
- Willingness to learn about the roofing industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to other markets needing additional sales staff.
