Job Description
The Chief of Staff Sr. Director supports the CEO by managing strategic initiatives, facilitating communication and decision-making, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and driving company growth and culture in a fast-paced clean energy organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize agendas and prepare materials for key meetings to facilitate decision-making.
- Serve as a thought partner to the CEO and executive team on strategy and project execution.
- Manage team efforts and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of information and action items.
- Drive the annual refresh of the company's Business Plan and Operating Plan.
- Coordinate with the Board and prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and reports.
- Support and accompany the CEO in important meetings and act as a liaison with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with People and Culture teams to design and champion employee initiatives.
- Develop and maintain cross-functional work plans to ensure timely input and project completion.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience serving Executive and or Board stakeholders, such as management consulting, corporate strategy, or Chief of Staff roles.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in U.S. power markets, infrastructure investing, and or utility-scale solar development is preferred.
- Must be an exceptional problem solver, detail-oriented, and experienced in leading highly visible projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and to resolve issues.
- Ability to provide effective supervision and cross-functional management.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market and renewables project data to make recommendations and draw conclusions.
- Understanding of business financials and ability to apply mathematics in problem solving.
- Reading comprehension skills to understand technical and legal documents.
- Ability to work on multiple projects or high-priority topics simultaneously.
- Ability to manage projects effectively and meet firm deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel.
