Job Description

The Senior Analyst of Portfolio Finance supports financing execution and asset optimization for renewable energy projects, involving financial modeling, investor relations, and transaction management throughout construction and operation phases.

Key Responsibilities

Support construction period financing execution and asset optimization transactions for renewable energy projects.
Lead advanced financial modeling for projects during construction and operation phases.
Identify and execute value optimization opportunities for operating projects.
Coordinate with lenders, investors, consultants, and legal teams during funding processes.
Update and analyze financial models, including scenario analysis and assumption updates.
Track and report economic outcomes, including returns and flip dates, for tax equity and other investors.
Interpret financing, operating, and purchase agreements to assess their impact on project economics.
Maintain relationships with investors and internal departments to facilitate project financing and operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
2-4 years of experience in project finance, portfolio management, or M&A in the energy sector.
Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge is required.
Experience building, auditing, and/or updating complex project finance models, with the ability to quickly generate summary economics relating to each stakeholder.
Experience with reading and interpreting investor financing agreements and project contracts is highly preferred.
Tax equity experience is highly preferred.
Understanding of financial, tax, accounting, and investment concepts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
