Job Description
A Marketing Associate role focused on developing and executing marketing and communications strategies, creating digital content, managing brand and event activities, and supporting internal communications within a clean energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing and communications programs in collaboration with internal teams and creative partners
- Create digital content and visual storytelling to support brand and project communications
- Manage Avantus digital presence, including website updates and social media monitoring
- Produce project-related materials such as one-pagers, blog posts, and FAQs
- Ensure brand integrity and provide design support for presentations and templates
- Coordinate with design partners to meet timelines and quality standards
- Support photo and video production and curate approved imagery
- Manage conference participation, sponsorships, and related logistics
- Support planning and execution of corporate and project-related events
- Drive internal communications to promote company mission, values, and achievements
- Partner with HR on employee branding initiatives and onboarding materials
- Maintain and update the company intranet and internal communications resources
- Support administrative tasks such as managing branded merchandise and vendor coordination
Requirements
- At least three years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or brand management.
- Experience with digital media, including content strategy, copywriting, graphics, and video development.
- Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to conceive and write creatively, including complex technical details.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritize, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with website CMS tools and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Collaborative team player with strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a willingness to test new ideas.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Knowledge of current and emerging marketing trends.
- Passionate about clean energy and contributing to a mission-driven team.
