Job Description
The Marketing Associate will develop and execute marketing and communications strategies, create digital content, manage brand integrity, coordinate events, and support internal communications to promote Avantus's clean energy projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing and communications programs in collaboration with internal teams and creative partners
- Create digital content and visual storytelling to support brand and project communications
- Manage Avantus digital presence, including website updates and social media monitoring
- Produce project-related materials such as one-pagers, blog posts, and FAQs
- Ensure brand integrity and consistency across all marketing materials
- Support design and formatting for presentations and templates, and coordinate with design partners
- Assist in photo and video production, curate imagery, and maintain visual asset library
- Manage conference participation, sponsorships, and event logistics
- Support planning and execution of corporate and project-related events
- Drive internal communications to promote company mission, values, and achievements
- Partner with HR on employee branding initiatives, recruitment materials, and onboarding
- Maintain and update internal communication resources, including the intranet
- Support data tracking, reporting, and implementation of internal sustainability initiatives
- Assist with administrative tasks such as managing branded merchandise and coordinating vendor contracts
Requirements
- At least three years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or brand management.
- Experience with digital media, including content strategy, copywriting, graphics, and video development.
- Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to conceive and write creatively, including complex technical details.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritize, multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with website CMS tools and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Collaborative team player with strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a willingness to test new ideas.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Knowledge of current and emerging marketing trends.
- Passionate about clean energy and contributing to a mission-driven team.
