Job Description
The Technical Lead Manager, Electrical Validation at Aurora is responsible for leading a team in the end-to-end electrical validation of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA), ensuring product reliability and safety for mass production, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to address field issues and improve validation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians in electrical validation of PCBA, setting goals and managing priorities.
- Serve as the hands-on technical lead for PCBA electrical validation, including module and system-level validation.
- Drive sustaining engineering efforts by conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for field issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical leadership or management role.
- Expertise in PCBA electrical validation, including both module and system-level validation for low-voltage, mass-produced consumer electronics.
- Demonstrated experience with board bring-up.
- Strong focus on product reliability.
- Experience driving sustaining engineering efforts, including root cause and corrective action (RCCA) for issues found in the field.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders.
