Job Description
The Software Engineer II, Pipeline Automation Acceleration at Aurora is responsible for developing and validating autonomous driving software, building data pipelines, and creating tools to improve the development and validation processes for self-driving technology, ultimately supporting the safe and efficient scaling of autonomous vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate onboard and off-board autonomy software
- Create tools to accelerate the development and evaluation of autonomy software
- Develop tools for system introspection, visualization, and performance analysis
- Optimize autonomy system performance through architectural and algorithmic improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of validation datasets
Requirements
- Experience with cloud automation, data and test automation.
- Experience with modern programming languages such as Python or C.
- Experience with developing in a Linux or Unix environment.
- Experience with cloud offerings such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience with cloud storages such as S3, Postgres, and Redis.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $126,000 - $201,000 per year
