The Senior Sales Manager at Aurora is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, driving revenue growth by securing contracts with transportation fleet clients, and collaborating with internal teams to promote autonomous trucking solutions within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to deal closure and post-sale handoff.
Identify and secure contracts with midsize and enterprise clients within the transportation fleet segment to drive revenue growth.
Develop account strategies, craft proposals, present business cases, and lead contract negotiations.
Collaborate with internal teams such as Product, Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure solutions meet client needs.
Leverage knowledge of the transportation ecosystem, freight market trends, and technology adoption drivers.
Serve as a subject matter expert on autonomous trucking solutions, including deployment, integration, and operational benefits.
Requirements
3 - 5 years of experience in sales
Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close with midsize and enterprise level transportation fleets
Highly organized, goal-oriented, metrics-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Experience working with Salesforce CRM
Hybrid work arrangement requiring in-office presence at least 3 days per week at one of the following locations: Coppell, TX; Livonia, MI; Pittsburgh, PA; or Seattle, WA
