Job Description
The role involves leading the design and development of vehicle diagnostics software for autonomous vehicles, including building scalable backend services, web applications, and data processing systems to ensure fleet health and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement major features for the vehicle diagnostics platform, including backend services and user interfaces.
- Develop scalable, low-latency backend services and data pipelines for real-time vehicle diagnostic data processing.
- Build web applications that translate complex diagnostic data into intuitive tools for technical teams.
- Design and implement systems to ingest, process, and enrich raw diagnostic data for troubleshooting.
- Influence the technical roadmap, mentor engineers, and improve system architecture and reliability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and operations teams to deliver software that enhances fleet efficiency and uptime.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of industry experience in software development, with a proven track record of owning complex software features from design to deployment.
- Deep expertise across the software stack, including architecting and implementing scalable backend services and building and deploying complex, modern web applications using frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Proficiency with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, including experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Elasticache, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring alerting systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong sense of product ownership and the ability to translate user needs into well-defined technical solutions.
- Ability to influence the team’s technical roadmap, mentor other engineers through design reviews and collaboration, and continuously improve system architecture and reliability.
