Job Description
The Lead Financial System role at Aurora involves managing and optimizing the company's financial systems, particularly NetSuite, to support operational excellence, ensure compliance, and drive automation and system improvements across various finance and business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the administration, customization, and optimization of NetSuite and other financial systems.
- Manage Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls, including IT General Controls documentation and audit coordination.
- Oversee day-to-day NetSuite operations, including user roles, permissions, configurations, and issue resolution.
- Enhance and maintain integrations between NetSuite and other enterprise systems such as Workday and Coupa.
- Design and develop custom solutions in NetSuite to optimize commercial operations, billing, and revenue processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation, reporting enhancements, and system improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Evaluate, test, and implement new system features, upgrades, and third-party integrations.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define system requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of experience building and supporting finance systems in a global organization, particularly with NetSuite, Coupa, and Workday Expense.
- 7 years of experience in SuiteFlow workflows, SuiteBuilder, SuiteScript, and Javascript.
- Strong understanding of business processes across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Acquire-to-Retire, and Design-to-Build and Warehouse Management.
- Proven ability to deliver complex customized solutions within the NetSuite Platform using SuiteBuilder, SuiteFlow, and SuiteScripts.
- Experience working for a public company with strong knowledge of IT related controls required for Sarbanes-Oxley SOX compliance.
- Serve as the lead and owner for Sarbanes-Oxley SOX controls, providing IT General Control (ITGC) documentation, gathering and presenting audit evidence, and coordinating IT Automated Control (ITAC) walkthroughs with both internal and external auditors.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of NetSuite, including user roles and permissions, system configurations, issue resolution, and enhance and maintain integrations with other enterprise systems such as Workday and Coupa.
- Lead the design and technical development of custom solutions in NetSuite, in partnership with product and engineering, to optimize commercial operations, billing, and revenue.
- Identify opportunities for automation, enhanced reporting, and system improvements to drive efficiency and scalability, and lead the evaluation, testing, and implementation of new system features, upgrades, and third-party integrations.
- Partner with stakeholders across accounting, finance, procurement, and supply chain to define evolving system requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Base salary range: $139,000 - $201,000 per year
