Job Description
The Internal Communications Lead at Aurora is responsible for developing and executing internal communication strategies to engage employees, align them with the company's mission, and enhance internal information access, while collaborating with leadership and internal teams to strengthen the employer brand and foster a connected, informed workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies to connect employees with the company's mission and priorities.
- Create initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster connections with leadership and colleagues.
- Manage the editorial calendar for internal communication channels.
- Collaborate on the development and refinement of Aurora's employer brand.
- Advise internal stakeholders on communication strategies and ensure message consistency.
- Create internal materials such as communication plans, emails, announcements, and talking points.
- Explore, evaluate, and manage AI-powered tools and intranet systems to improve engagement and information access.
Requirements
- 12 years of experience in internal communications in the tech industry.
- Experience developing and executing company-wide internal communication strategies for rapidly scaling companies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into simple language.
- Proven experience as a trusted communications advisor to internal stakeholders.
- Experience launching and managing company-wide systems such as intranet and AI tools that help employees be more efficient.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong production skills to utilize a variety of communications channels to reach employees.

Compensation/salary range: 158,000 - 253,000 per year
