Job Description
The role involves leading survey teams, managing survey projects, reviewing survey work, preparing legal descriptions and survey calculations, maintaining budgets and schedules, and collaborating with clients and other disciplines in the land surveying and development industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct survey staff and technicians
- Review and ensure accuracy of survey work and calculations
- Prepare survey documents, legal descriptions, control sheets, and boundary surveys
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and proposals
- Maintain client relationships and coordinate with other disciplines
- Mentor and train survey staff
- Ensure quality control of survey deliverables
- Monitor project progress, costs, and deadlines
- Handle billing, contracts, and scope of work adherence
- Participate in marketing, business development, and client acquisition
Requirements
- Six to ten years of related experience and or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Valid driver s license.
- Licensed Land Surveyor.
