Job Description
The Survey Project Manager at Atwell is responsible for leading survey projects, managing teams, reviewing survey data, and utilizing industry software to deliver site plans and construction documents across various land development and renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate with a team to draft, review, and finalize site plans and construction documents.
- Review project survey data using industry software and technology.
- Analyze site conditions and development factors, including legal descriptions, easements, and survey data.
- Supervise survey crews, technicians, and office staff.
- Oversee large-scale ALTA surveys related to solar and wind energy projects.
- Provide construction-related services such as permit applications, quantity estimates, and transmittals.
- Organize and assemble site plans, construction plans, and related documents.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to complete project assignments.
Requirements
- Possess a Professional Survey License (PLS or RLS)
- Have 8 years of survey industry-related work experience
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop a growing team
- Prior experience working with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Have an advanced understanding of Boundary Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Construction Staking, Leveling, Traversing, GPS, Data Collections, Legal Descriptions, Plan interpretations, along with Real Estate Documents
