Job Description
The role involves leading civil engineering projects in land development, managing a team, driving business growth, and ensuring successful project delivery through strategic planning, client relationship management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of civil engineers and support staff.
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of land development projects.
- Develop and execute regional strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Implement strategic business development plans to expand market presence.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Identify and pursue new land development business opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Ensure successful delivery of land development projects from inception to completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering, focusing on land development commercial and/or single-family detached (SFD) projects
- Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strategic thinking ability to develop and execute long-term plans
