Job Description
The position involves leading and managing a civil engineering team focused on land development projects, overseeing business operations, client relationships, staff management, and ensuring operational excellence within a flexible, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage business operations and develop annual business plans for the team
- Oversee business development activities and maintain key client relationships
- Manage team performance, staffing, and professional development
- Supervise project management, including financial performance, effort allocation, and risk management
- Ensure operational standards, templates, and deliverables meet company and sector requirements
- Communicate company objectives and foster internal communication
- Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and HR processes
- Promote safety protocols and ensure safety compliance on projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required. JD, MBA, or other advanced degree may be preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Typically, a minimum of fifteen (15) plus years of experience in civil engineering land development.
- Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and lead business development efforts.

Compensation range: $125,000 - $190,000 USD
