Job Description

A Quality Engineer responsible for supporting quality processes, conducting inspections and audits, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with industry standards to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and improve quality assurance systems and procedures
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and root cause analyses to resolve quality issues
  • Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams to address and prevent quality concerns
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and non-conformances
  • Use statistical tools and data analysis to monitor and improve product and process quality
  • Maintain documentation such as inspection reports, corrective action requests, and quality records
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance product reliability and process efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in a quality engineering or related role, preferably in the automotive or aerospace sector
  • Familiarity with quality management systems, standards, and tools such as FMEA, SPC, PPAP, and Six Sigma
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and product lifecycle management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and quality-related software applications
  • Ability to assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance systems and procedures
  • Ability to conduct inspections, audits, and root cause analyses to resolve quality-related issues
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and supply chain to address and prevent quality concerns
  • Support the investigation and resolution of customer complaints and non-conformances
  • Use statistical tools and data analysis to monitor, measure, and improve product and process quality
  • Prepare and maintain documentation such as inspection reports, corrective action requests, and quality records
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance product reliability and process efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100
