Job Description
An Electrical Engineer at Astrodyne TDI will develop advanced power conversion products, perform design verification, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure product reliability and compliance to deliver innovative power solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop advanced power conversion products and electronic schematic diagrams
- Execute Design Verification and Qualification test plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet performance, cost, and schedule targets
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex power electronic topologies and prototypes
- Maintain engineering documentation including BOMs, drawings, and ECNs
- Prepare component stress documentation, DFMEA, and MTBF analyses
- Conduct product reliability testing
- Support New Product Introduction with project transfer and testing
- Make critical project decisions and report to senior engineers
- Design control circuits and contribute to mechanical product design
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years in developing electronic circuits and power conversion products
- Proficiency in design aid tools like PSpice and Mathcad
- Understanding of Electromagnetism and Control Theory
- Knowledge of digital design and communication protocols
