The Sr. Combustion Engineer leads the development and testing of high-pressure, high-efficiency combustion systems for carbon-neutral power cycles, working collaboratively through all stages from design to hardware implementation to support sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of high-pressure combustion systems for carbon-neutral and carbon-negative power cycles.
Design, model, and analyze combustion devices throughout their lifecycle.
Conduct hands-on testing and rapid iteration of combustion hardware.
Collaborate with test engineers, analysts, and designers to optimize combustion performance.
Requirements
Experience in developing high-pressure combustion systems, specifically rocket-inspired combustion devices, for carbon-neutral and carbon-negative power cycles.
Ability to lead end-to-end development of high-efficiency combustion devices, including conceptual design, modeling, hands-on testing, and rapid iteration.
Proven experience in conceptual design and modeling of combustion systems.
Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with test engineers, analysts, and designers.
Ownership of the full hardware lifecycle for combustion devices, from initial concept to testing and iteration.
