Job Description
A Lead Test Engineer responsible for developing and overseeing testing procedures and hardware for complex fluid, mechanical, and electrical systems related to advanced power technology, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and oversee testing procedures for complex fluid, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Design test plans and test stand hardware
- Analyze performance data from tests
- Build and troubleshoot test stand fluids and instrumentation systems
- Ensure testing complies with safety and quality standards
- Implement and manage test automation and data acquisition systems
Requirements
- Develop, execute, and oversee testing procedures and test stand hardware to test complex fluid, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Design test plans for complex systems.
- Analyze performance data from testing activities.
- Build and troubleshoot test stand fluids and instrumentation systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during testing.
- Have experience in test automation.
- Have experience in data acquisition.
- Have experience working with high-energy or hazardous systems.
- Work on-site at the test site in San Bernardino, CA, with up to 40% travel.
