Job Description
The Lead Test Engineer is responsible for developing and overseeing testing procedures and hardware for complex fluid, mechanical, and electrical systems, including designing test plans, analyzing performance data, and troubleshooting test stand equipment to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and oversee testing procedures for complex fluid, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Design test plans and test stand hardware
- Analyze performance data from tests
- Build and troubleshoot test stand fluids and instrumentation systems
- Ensure testing complies with safety and quality standards
- Implement and manage test automation and data acquisition systems
Requirements
- Develop, execute, and oversee testing procedures and test stand hardware to test complex fluid, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Design test plans for complex systems.
- Analyze performance data from testing activities.
- Build and troubleshoot test stand fluids and instrumentation systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during testing.
- Have experience in test automation.
- Have experience in data acquisition.
- Work with high-energy or hazardous systems.
- Position requires on-site work at the test site in San Bernardino, CA.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% to the test site.
