Job Description
A Gasification Engineer responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing biomass gasification reactors to support scalable bioenergy with carbon capture and storage projects, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and optimize the biomass gasification reactor.
- Guide daily operations of the gasification system.
- Execute performance testing of the gasification process.
- Lead design improvements to ensure system safety, reliability, and performance.
Requirements
- Experience in the development, testing, and optimization of biomass gasification reactors.
- Ability to take ownership of the development, testing, and optimization processes for biomass gasification reactors as the project scales from demonstration to pilot and beyond.
- Experience guiding daily operations of a combustion system as a core member of a small, hands-on combustion team.
- Proven ability to execute performance testing of biomass gasification systems.
- Experience leading design improvements to ensure systems are safe, reliable, and high-performing.
