Job Description
A Tax Manager role focused on the Restaurant and Franchise Hospitality industries, responsible for developing tax strategies, providing client service, and helping clients optimize their tax opportunities within a dynamic and growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients in developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize their tax liabilities within the restaurant and franchise hospitality industries.
- Prepare and review tax returns and related documentation for clients in the specified industries.
- Provide tax planning advice and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Active CPA license or equivalent professional certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax planning, compliance, and consulting, specifically within the Restaurant and Franchise Hospitality industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing tax strategies to reduce clients' tax liabilities.
- Experience working with clients in the Restaurant and Franchise Hospitality sectors.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations relevant to the Restaurant and Franchise Hospitality industries.
- Ability to analyze complex tax issues and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines.
- Physical ability to perform work at a desk, including sitting for extended periods, and using standard office equipment.
