Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Advisory
Serve as the primary point of contact for key and high-profile clients, providing strategic tax planning, compliance oversight, and consulting services tailored to multinational and technology companies.
Advise clients on U.S. international tax implications related to global operations, cross-border transactions, and expansion into new markets.
Provide guidance on tax structuring, entity planning, and global tax efficiencies for inbound and outbound operations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to deliver additional value through advisory services.
Technical Tax Expertise
Provide technical oversight and review of complex tax engagements including:
Forms 5471, 5472, 8858, and 8865
Subpart F and GILTI calculations
Foreign tax credits and FDII
Inbound and outbound structuring
Review and manage the preparation of U.S. federal and international tax compliance, including Forms 1120, 1120-F, and related disclosures.
Provide guidance on tax treaty analysis and cross-border tax considerations.
Stay current on industry trends, tax legislation, and regulatory changes impacting multinational and technology companies.
Practice Leadership & Growth
Lead and manage within the tax practice, supporting initiatives to expand the client base and increase market share.
Develop and execute business development strategies aimed at acquiring new clients and strengthening the firm’s presence in the region.
Participate in client proposals, networking, and industry events to support practice growth.
Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client relationships.
Engagement Management
Lead multiple tax engagements from planning through delivery, ensuring high-quality service and timely completion.
Supervise and review work performed by managers, seniors, and staff, providing technical guidance and feedback.
Team Development & Mentorship
Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and professional growth.
Provide coaching and technical training to strengthen the team’s international tax expertise.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field
CPA required
8–12+ years of tax experience, with a strong foundation in public accounting
Significant experience with U.S. international tax compliance and planning
