Job Description
A Senior Tax Associate role focused on providing tax services related to blockchain and cryptocurrency industries within a dynamic, growth-oriented CPA and advisory firm, offering opportunities for professional development and a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with tax planning and compliance related to blockchain and cryptocurrency activities
- Prepare and review tax returns and related documentation for clients involved in fast-growing industries
- Provide strategic tax advice to optimize clients' opportunities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting or related field.
- Have a strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations relevant to clients' industries.
- Demonstrate proficiency in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities.
- Possess a CPA license or be in the process of obtaining one (preferred but not explicitly stated as mandatory).
- Have the ability to analyze financial data and provide tax planning and consulting services to clients.
- Be capable of working independently and managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Be willing to work in a flexible, hybrid, or remote working environment.
- Be able to adhere to deadlines and maintain high-quality work standards under pressure.
