Job Description
The Manager of Nonprofit Consulting at Aprio is responsible for leading business advisory and outsourced accounting engagements for nonprofit clients, focusing on areas such as finance process improvement, audit facilitation, system implementation, financial analysis, and grants management, while collaborating with a high-performing team in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate completion of business advisory and interim outsourced accounting engagements
- Support engagements within six business pillars, including finance assessment, audit facilitation, system implementation, financial analysis, interim CFO services, and grants management
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to improve financial processes and policies
- Conduct financial research and analysis to inform client recommendations
- Assist with chart of account redesign and system implementation projects
- Provide interim financial leadership as Controller or CFO for clients
Requirements
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving and project management skills
- Ability to adapt to different client environments
- Experience supporting engagements within the following six business pillars: Finance Department Assessment and Process Improvement, Audit Facilitation and Accounting Research, Chart of Account Redesign and System Implementation, Financial Analysis, Policy Evaluation and Management Collaboration, Interim Controller and Chief Financial Officer Services, Single Audit Facilitation, Uniform Guidance Support, and Grants Management
