Manager, Assurance Services - Affordable Housing

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts. • Conduct multiple auditing projects and client engagements. • Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables • Develop detailed engagement work plans. • Illustrate budgets and schedules. • Actively participate in proposals. • Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback. • Continuously fostering relationships with coworkers and clients. • Effectively communicating with partners, staff and clients regarding expectations, status of engagements and other matters.

• Developed specialties in Nonprofit, Affordable Housing, and/or Real Estate, • 4-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting. • Master’s degree preferred. • Licensed CPA. • 4-7 years of experience working for a public accounting firm. • Energetically managing, coaching, and developing staff accountants. • Analytical skills in relation to financial statements and other financial information. • Effective written and verbal communication skills with clients and co-workers. • Demonstrating initiative and willingness to lead, make decisions, and work independently. • Knowledge of audit software CaseWare (CaseView) a plus.
