Job Description
The Manager in Aerospace, Defense, and Government at Aprio is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, including full-cycle accounts payable and receivable, job cost accounting, financial statements, bank reconciliations, and monthly closings, while working with a dynamic team to help clients maximize their business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting operations including full-cycle A/P, A/R billing, job cost accounting, financial statements, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing.
- Work with clients to maximize their business opportunities and increase organizational value.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance.
- Support client engagement through strategic advice and innovative accounting solutions.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of hands-on, accounting operations experience including full-cycle Accounts Payable (A P), Accounts Receivable (A R) Billing, Job Cost Accounting, financial statements preparation, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing processes.
- Proficiency in performing full-cycle A P, A R-Billing, Job Cost Accounting, financial statements, bank reconciliations, and monthly closing activities as part of accounting operations.
- Experience working in a role that involves managing or executing accounting operations tasks in a fast-growing industry or similar environment.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with clients and colleagues in a professional setting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices relevant to aerospace, defense, and government sectors (implied by the team focus).
