Job Description
The Senior Associate in Assurance Services at Aprio will support clients by providing personalized audit expertise, ensuring accurate financial statements, and helping stakeholders make informed business decisions within a professional and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients in preparing accurate financial statements for effective business management.
- Perform personalized audit procedures to provide assurance and financial insights for stakeholders.
- Adhere to PCAOB standards and deliver a full range of assurance services efficiently.
- Build trusted client relationships through clear communication throughout the audit process.
Requirements
- Possess a CPA Certification or be willing to obtain CPA Certification with assistance from the employer.
- Have experience working in assurance or audit services, preferably with private and closely-held companies.
- Demonstrate knowledge of financial statement preparation and the assurance process.
- Adhere to the highest professional standards as a registered member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB).
- Possess strong communication skills for building trusted relationships and clear communication throughout the audit process.
- Be able to work in a team environment with high-energy, passionate, caring, and ambitious professionals.
- Be willing to grow professionally through continuous learning and advancement opportunities.
- Meet the physical demands of onsite work, including the ability to work at client locations and utilize provided shuttle services if applicable.
- Be able to work in a hybrid setup if the role is designated as such, subject to location, terms, and conditions.
- Possess a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in assurance or audit services (implied by the senior associate level, though not explicitly stated).
