Job Description
A Senior Tax Associate at Aprio will work with a dynamic team to serve middle to large-sized restaurant and hospitality clients, providing tax expertise to help clients maximize opportunities and supporting their growth in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with tax planning and compliance for middle to large-sized restaurant and hospitality businesses
- Prepare and review tax returns and related documentation
- Provide tax advisory services to optimize clients' tax opportunities and ensure compliance
- Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their tax needs
- Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations affecting clients
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in tax, preferably with middle to large sized restaurant, franchise, or hospitality clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in tax preparation, planning, and compliance for clients in the hospitality or franchise industry.
- Ability to work with diverse and energetic teams within a collaborative environment.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations applicable to restaurant, franchise, and hospitality clients.
- Experience working with CPA and advisory firms is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to form relationships with clients and team members.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous learning and professional growth.
