• MSc in Systems Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Significant experience in system architecture and modularity leadership within robotics, autonomous systems, medical devices, automotive, aerospace, or other complex mechatronic environments
• Proven track record of architecting and evolving complex platforms rather than one-off systems
• Experience defining modular architectures and enabling reuse across multiple product variants
• Strong understanding of hardware and software co-design principles across sensors, actuators, compute, control systems, middleware, and power management
• Good understanding of autonomy-related systems such as perception, localisation, navigation, motion planning, or fleet-level coordination
• Experience with real-time systems, platform middleware, and system integration (V model) in complex industrial or safety-relevant environments
• Ability to translate customer needs, business direction, and technical constraints into clear architectural decisions
• Experience balancing performance, safety, manufacturability, scalability, and product maturity in real-world systems
• Proven ability to influence across teams, drive alignment, and lead change without relying solely on formal authority
• Strong communication and influence skills, sound judgement, and the ability to simplify complex architectural questions for a broad technical audience
• Proven ability to translate company strategy and mid- to long-term technology vision into a clear, executable roadmap, along with effective governance to drive its execution.
