Job Description

A Senior Team Lead Electrical Engineering role focused on developing and leading the electrical systems of next-generation quadruped robots for explosion-proof environments, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to drive innovation, ensure quality, and enhance product robustness and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of next-generation quadruped robots for explosion-proof environments.
  • Build and inspire a high-performing electrical engineering team.
  • Collaborate with R&D and software teams to evaluate, implement, and test electronic systems.
  • Support the product development process to ensure quality, cost, and performance standards.
  • Drive innovative hardware design and system performance improvements.
  • Mentor and guide engineers to enhance their technical skills and project contributions.
  • Contribute to the design and integration of complex electronic systems for robotic platforms.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in electrical engineering with a focus on hardware design and system performance, including the evaluation, implementation, testing, and support of electronic systems.
  • Experience in leading and building high-performing engineering teams, including mentoring talented engineers.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work closely with R D experts, software development groups, and operations teams to achieve product development goals, target costs, and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovative solutions in the development of complex electronic systems for robotics applications.
  • Industrial experience in designing electronic systems for robotics or related fields, with an emphasis on robustness, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Experience working on robotic systems or similar complex hardware platforms, including integration of sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Ability to influence and improve hardware design and system performance at competitive costs.
  • Experience in developing products for explosion-proof environments or similar safety-critical applications is preferred.
  • Educational background in electrical engineering or a related technical field (specific degree requirements are not explicitly stated but implied).
