Job Description
The Head of System Architecture at ANYbotics is responsible for defining and leading the technical blueprint for a family of modular, scalable robotic platforms, ensuring they are designed for diverse industrial applications and future growth, by integrating hardware, software, autonomy, and safety considerations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the technical blueprint for a family of robots ensuring scalable, modular, and future-proof system design
- Bridge hardware, software, autonomy, inspection, and safety to create diverse robotic platforms from a shared central architecture
- Establish and govern a modular system design to enable speed, reusability, and interoperability across robotic variants
- Enable the development of robotic platforms that address multiple operational design domains such as energy, utilities, oil & gas, and heavy industry
- Ensure diverse robotic variants are built on a shared, modular foundation to facilitate integration with external ecosystems like fleet management and digital twins
Requirements
- Define and lead the technical blueprint for a family of robots, ensuring a scalable, modular, and future-proof system design.
- Bridge hardware, software, autonomy, inspection, and safety to create diverse robotic platforms derived from a shared central architecture.
- Establish and govern a modular system design to enable the development of robotic variants across multiple operational design domains (ODDs) such as energy, utilities, oil and gas, and heavy industry.
- Ensure that all diverse variants of robotic platforms are built on a shared, modular foundation to enable speed, reusability, and interoperability.
- Seamlessly integrate robotic platforms with external ecosystems such as fleet management, predictive maintenance, and digital twins.
- Possess significant experience in system architecture for autonomous robotic systems, with the ability to define and lead technical blueprints.
- Demonstrate leadership skills in establishing and governing system design standards and frameworks.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of hardware, software, autonomy, inspection, and safety considerations in robotic system design.
- Possess the ability to anticipate future business models and technologies to inform system architecture planning.
- Have experience working on robotic platforms in challenging environments, ensuring safety and reliability are prioritized.
