Job Description
A Field Technician in Robotics at ANYbotics is responsible for installing, configuring, and deploying mobile robots at customer sites worldwide, providing operator training, and ensuring successful and reliable robot operations to support industrial inspection and maintenance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure ANYmal robots at customer sites
- Provide operators with training on robot operation
- Expand robot usage by adding inspection missions and points of interest
- Ensure proper setup and reliable deployment of robots
- Travel frequently to customer sites for deployment and support
- Collaborate with Field Engineers and Customer Success Engineers on installations
- Feed back observations to improve processes and technology
Requirements
- The candidate must have the legal right to work in the European Union.
- The candidate must be able to travel frequently to customer sites around the globe to install, configure, and deploy robots.
- The candidate must be able to work remotely within the European Union from their home country.
- The candidate must have the ability to install and configure ANYmal robots at customer sites.
- The candidate must be able to provide operators with straightforward training on the use of the robots.
- The candidate must be capable of expanding robot usage by adding inspection missions and points of interest.
- The candidate must focus on the practical execution of deployments, ensuring robots are set up correctly and operators feel confident in using them.
- The candidate must work closely with Field Engineers and Customer Success Engineers to ensure high-quality, reliable installations.
- The candidate must be willing to travel directly to customer sites from their home base and attend regular training and exchange sessions at the headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.
- The candidate must be committed to continuously growing their technical and field skills through hands-on deployment activities.
- The candidate must support real-world installations and provide feedback to help improve processes and technology.
