Job Description
A Software Development Engineer at Amperity will develop advanced data pipelines and AI-powered solutions to help clients analyze and activate their customer data, contributing to a mission-critical platform that enhances customer understanding and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop advanced data pipelines and integrate AI capabilities to enhance customer data insights.
- Build full-stack experiences and tools for data visualization and customer understanding.
- Process and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured customer, product, and event data.
- Collaborate on integrating the system into clients' core business operations to improve data utilization.
- Contribute to the development and deployment of enterprise software applications using big data and cloud technologies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience including 3 years developing enterprise software.
- At least 3 years of experience building applications on database technologies.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a production environment, demonstrating the ability to get products and features released to customers.
- Experience with infrastructure development and deployment using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with a platform-level team whose customers are other developers.
- Experience working with big data technologies.
- Experience processing and understanding large amounts of structured and unstructured customer, product, and event data.
- Experience building applications that integrate AI capabilities to help clients gain deeper insights and activate their data.
- Experience with building full-stack experiences and toolsets to help users visualize data, understand customers, and surface impactful insights.
- Experience with using the latest data science and AI advancements to accelerate the time to value for data developers and marketers.
- Experience with large-scale data engines such as Apache Spark, Presto, and Kafka.
- Experience with functional programming languages including Clojure, ClojureScript, and the React ecosystem.
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure built with Kubernetes and Terraform, deployed across multiple cloud providers.
- Experience with machine learning models and systems including random forests, logistic regression, and probabilistic databases.
- Ability and enthusiasm to work remotely in Argentina with participation in meaningful in-person gatherings for alignment and collaboration.
