Job Description
The IT Helpdesk Engineer at Amperity provides technical support to employees, managing hardware, software, AV equipment, and network issues in a fast-paced, in-office environment, ensuring smooth daily operations and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and resolve office and technical support tickets related to hardware, software, audio, and video issues
- Assist with computer hardware and software setup, including printing, office products, and electronic messaging
- Support AV room and conference room equipment, including troubleshooting and maintenance
- Manage computer provisioning, re-provisioning, and inventory using MDM software
- Administer IAM and SaaS tools such as Okta, G Suite, Slack, Zoom, and Atlassian Suite
- Provide white glove support for executives and C-suite team members
- Support and troubleshoot conference-room tools, devices, and network connectivity
- Procure IT equipment and manage hardware inventory
- Create internal and user-facing technical documentation
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years working in the IT field
- Managed macOS using MDM and participated in effective hardware inventory tracking
- Experience with supporting Okta and other SaaS tools such as G Suite, Zoom, Atlassian, etc.
- Comfortable delivering white glove executive support and coordinating with C-Suite team members and executive assistants to deliver on requests
- Delivered technical and AV support for global meetings, ensuring reliable connectivity and presentation quality for all attendees
- Directed all aspects of AV IT hardware support, from initial user-reported issues to advanced troubleshooting and preventative maintenance for conference room and presentation systems
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Willingness to work in-office 5 days per week at the Seattle, WA location
- Support computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, office products, and electronic messaging
- Assist with AV room troubleshooting and maintenance, and AV conference support
- Manage computers using MDM software such as ABM, Addigy, Jamf, Kandji, or Workspace One
- Administer IAM and SaaS tools including Okta, Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, Atlassian Suite, etc.
- Troubleshoot and configure printers and scanners
- Support Meraki networks, including troubleshooting and issue escalation
- Manage IT supplies and new orders
- Create internal and user-facing documentation
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $66,000 - $90,000 with cash incentives and stock options
Work schedule: 5 days per week in-office in Seattle, WA
